Summer 2025 Updates

From Cairo to Tunis to Amsterdam, the sun is (mostly) shining and summer vacation is calling. But first—some highlights from New Silk Roads and our partners' collaborations these last few months:

• Concluded facilitating an 18-month peer learning journey on international cooperation with Philea - Philanthropy Europe Association & the Funders International Network for Development (FIND)
• Conducted a research study on digital jobs & women in collaboration with the Challenge Fund for Youth Employment, focused on Egypt, Morocco, Jordan & Tunisia: https://lnkd.in/eUnVPbqj
• Produced a feasibility study on impactinvesting in the cultural & creative sector for DOEN Ventures: https://lnkd.in/ehxgVSp4 & co-organized the launch-event of the report “Investing in Europe’s Creative Future” with EIT Culture & Creativity, The DOEN Foundation, the Municipality of Amsterdam & Pakhuis de Zwijger
• Implemented the 2nd Green Growth Summit in Cairo, in partnership with Hivos & with support from Stichting SPARK & Finance in Motion
• Participated in launching “Greening Your Company 101,” the first in a series of digital courses for the Green Growth and Jobs Accelerator Project (GGJAP): https://lnkd.in/dQykN3UY
• Facilitated sessions with INCO for “Académie des talents méditerranéens” and “Get into Green”
